Naples, a city bursting with life, history, and mouth-watering pizza, is the gateway to the ancient ruins of Pompeii. Whether you’re exploring the vibrant streets of Naples, marveling at the art in its museums, or stepping back in time in Pompeii, there’s no shortage of wonders to discover. But how can you make the most of your visit? Enter the world of city passes and tourist cards!

Naples and the Campania region offer a variety of city passes to suit all tastes. Whether you are a tourist looking for a tailor-made package with all services included, or you want to discover the museums of Naples and the Campania, you will find the perfect offer for you.

Which City Passes for Naples Are Available?

In addition to the usual tourist cards, there are some museum cards in the Campania region that are primarily aimed at the locals. However, they can also be purchased by tourists, and if you want to see a lot of museums and attractions, they are a very interesting alternative to individual museum tickets.

Almost all City Cards allow you to visit the excavations of Pompeii and other archaeological sites.

Most tourist cards work with QR codes. We recommend taking screenshots of the codes to avoid problems with the Internet connection.

From Naples: Vesuvius & Pompeii Tours

Organized day tours are a convenient way to explore Vesuvius and the ruins of Pompeii. In particular, you can avoid the chaotic train ride on the Circumvesuviana line, where you never know which track the right train will leave from in Naples, or the trip on the state-owned Trenitalia line, from whose station you have to take a bus to the excavations.

The tours depart from Naples Central Station (Piazza Garibaldi) and are therefore also suitable for those arriving by train from the surrounding area or by express train from Rome or Salerno.
